This is the 3rd movie out under the Ice Age line with previously the 1st and 2nd (Ice Age: The Meltdown) pocket more than $1b worldwide and don't forget the sales from the DVD & merchandise too. The budget for those 2 movies out earlier just below $150m and yet to bank in those $ has to be a smashing achievement for film franchise history.

Distribute again by 20th Century Fox continue to deliver same genre for this 3rd movie bring back Manfred, Diego the Sabertooth, Sid and not to forget out favourite Scrat too. With the same $75m production budget as the 2nd movie taken 3 years to release to cinema which I bet still lots of fan waiting for the gang share us thier experience this time.

Continue to bring us the same voice cast of Ray Ramano, Denis Leary, John Leguizamo & Queen Latifah with the return of director Carlos Saldanha schedule to release this 1st of July nation wide. On that notes I also can't wait how Simon Pegg that voice over one-eyed Weasel in this sequal. The star acted on Shaun of the Dead and Star Trek (not to mention tons of British movies) perform in animated films. Pegg will voice a character name Buck tag along Mammoth, Sid the sloth & Diego the sabretooth tiger when they fall into the world beneath the ice where the dinosaurs run wild.

The sub zero heroes are back. Scrat is still trying to nab the ever elusive nut, while maybe finding true love. Manny & Ellie await the birth of their mini-mammoth.
